La petite Chapelle de San Telmo de Zumaia, dédiée au saint patron des marins, perchée sur la falaise formée par le Flysch surplombe la Plage d'Itzurun. Les premières références à cette chapelle datent de 1540, mais elle a été postérieurement rénovée par la Guilde des Marins de San Telmo, qui y installa son siège au XVIIe siècle.
